The Dressage Diary: September 2014

The insights and reflections of a dressage enthusiast. September 29, 2014. Shorten the reins without increasing the pressure in the reins. Use my middle in collected walk - not the leg. Passive hands in the neck bending at halt. The next step was to keep him on the circle, and ask him to slow as much as possible 2 step, then relax into working trott, then forward 2 steps. The insights and reflections of a dressage enthusiast. August 23, 2013. I have taken a long break from blogging, but now it is back to business. After the disater show at Strömsholm I took Stern to the vet and Der Stern was diagnosed with an injury to his rear left suspensory ligament. Having an injured horse is depressing, and writing about it even more so. But finally we are back on track! Then off to trot! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The insights and reflections of a dressage enthusiast. April 03, 2011. Yesterday I was very lucky to see some great riding. Not only did I watch the pony riders in awe, but I saw two Grand Prix riders working their horses. I got to know these two fantastic riders and friendly women when I worked at the DOKR. They have always been kind to me and I have learnt a lot from them. She makes everything look so easy. Passage on the centreline. Labels: Training in Germany. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
