Life is good today! Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Here are some pictures from our 4th of July. Monday, July 4, 2011. Well we survived our first two weeks of being apart from James! He went to Texas to start working his territory. You know the saying "it takes a village"; well that is very true and I am so grateful to my "village" for all of their help while James was away. I had so much help and support we made it through just fine! Hope you all are doing well and enjoying your summer! Chillin in the backyard!

Life is good today! Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Ho Ho Happy Homeless Holidays. Merry Christmas from the vagabond Newtons! It’s been an exciting few weeks, to say the least! We have been all over visiting family and exploring tons along the way! I’ll let the pictures do the explaining. 14 days and counting until we are no longer homeless! We are VERY excited to move into our new home. We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! Can't wait to frame this pic! Another Santa photo opp.

Life is good today! Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Hope all is well. I've had a pumpkin spice latte and just bought harvest candles, it's officially Fall! We are still in PA, awaiting the house to sell. Daddy is in TX and we are missing him TERRIBLY! We have been trying to keep ourselves busy so the weeks go by quickly. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Thanksgiving. Baltimore Style. Since my mom is temporarily residing in Baltimore with Steve in the hospital, we packed our bags and all flew there to be with them for Thanksgiving. Thursday, February 14, 2013. Apparently kindergarteners who live in the state of Louisiana make mini Mardi Gras floats this time of year. Well, Charlie and I certainly had fun with a hot glue gun [and several blister burns later]. Here's his finished product! I also had a 'first' this Mardi Gras season. I got to ride in my first Mardi Gras parade! My cousin, Stephanie and I climbed on board our float and loaded all of our "throws". Now all I needed was my "costume and mask". I would LOVE to do this again!

Friday, March 22, 2013. My Jackson requested his two friends have a campout in the backyard for his birthday. I thought that was perfect! Ryan, Jackson and Lane. They all started out in Kindergarten together :). A camouflage cake to complete the evening. James built a fire and they all roasted hotdogs for dinner. S'mores to follow [my fav]. Where did that go? Singing to Jackson.lots of silliness going on! He made out a loooong list of Legos that he wanted for his birthday and gave it to his Grandma.

Tuesday, August 30, 2011. My sweet Charlie turned 4 on August 30. He requested a pizza party at Mellow Mushroom! A pizza party requires a pizza cake. I found some cute ideas online and this is the result. He had a mouth full of pizza so of course when he went to blow out his candles,. Well, you can guess what happened. Our handsome four year old! Grandma and Georgia were at the other end of the table talking to each other :). Can't go wrong with some monster trucks! So excited that he turned 4.finally.
