Out instructor first gave us a lesson on each of the important ropes, how to tie proper knots into our harnesses, and how to belay (or hold another person as they climb up or down). Off to Hoi An: The Extreme Shopping Experience. December 27, 2014. We had purchased quite a few beers and snacks before boarding and enjoyed a few hours of drinking and playing poker (using all the random coins from various countries that we had no other use for) before we got ready to settle in. We continued on till about 10am where we made it to our final destination of Hoi An. There were some pretty stellar views on the way too.not too bad for just trying to get from A to B. Making our way to Vietnam. December 9, 2014. After Rock climbing we spent two more days in Vang Vieng, just laying low and planning out our next steps. We needed a few days to get our Visa for Vietnam in order, but this was way easier than we expected. We filled out a form online, and within two days we had an approval form that we just printed and brought with us. We had some great homemade hummus, and two wonderful wood fired pizzas. Back to Thailand: Diving, Sunsets, and SPICY food.
