The last sane bloke in Chicago: My Way or My Way
http://chicagosane.blogspot.com/2011/04/my-way-or-my-way.html
The last sane bloke in Chicago. Early in life I had to choose between honest arrogance and hypocritical humility. I chose the former and have seen no reason to change." Frank Lloyd Wright. Monday, April 18, 2011. My Way or My Way. I had an interesting Google Chat conversation tonight with a lady who I am soon to meet on a upcoming trip to the East Coast. I'm not sure what exactly put us on this line of conversation, but I felt the drive to share it with you find readers. She asked. "Yes, done.". We sat a...

She Is Anyway: I'M ENGAGED!
http://pennyheadsup.blogspot.com/2010/08/im-engaged.html
Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage. Friday, August 20, 2010. I know that all caps is obnoxious and that all caps for that particular announcement likens me to Monica from Friends when she's literally shouting from her balcony that she's getting married.but fuck it. I'm engaged! Truth be told, our first date was so good that when the check came and it was almost time to say goodbye, I asked him if I could buy him a drink at the bar. Because the date was so good and the conversation...

My journey as an SMC-to-be. June 11, 2009. A quick and dirty lil’ update. Posted by Heather under Becoming a mom. I’m not sure whether anyone is still reading this blog, but that’s okay…it’s mainly an outlet for me, anyway. So here is said update, for whoever might be out there:. I’m really thankful for all of the RE’s vigilance with this cycle. But the flip side–the BAD side–is that now I’m finding myself putting even more stock, more hope, into this cycle. I DON...The Dumbest Smart Girl You Know.

My journey as an SMC-to-be. June 29, 2009. Posted by Heather under Becoming a mom. Things that make me happy. In my life so far, I think it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Pregnant at age 39! With sperm that’s been frozen for about ten years! I’ve just been sitting here, gazing at this most perfect sight, savoring it, soaking it in. I honestly never thought I’d actually see my very own positive pee stick, and here it is. I was hoping for a faint. Line, and it’s so freakin’ DARK! I don’t ...

Delightfully Inappropriate: February 2009
http://delightfullyinappropriate.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2009. It's kind of like we're famous. Is giving us our first interview! I feel like we should be sitting in chairs across from each other, very formal, with a camera pointing to us and people coming in to touch up our makeup! 1 Team Angelina or Team Jennifer.and why? 2 What tv show are you embarrassed to admit that you love? 3 If you could have any non-traditional pet, what would it be and what would you name it? Every era. I'm going to say any amount of time between the start of...

I Should Be Folding Laundry. I Should Be Folding Laundry's photostream. Laquo; Not that I care or anything. Help a sista out. ». August 29, 2008. I'm embarrassed to be doing this, But it's been bothering me that I haven't, so today is the day. Remember 85,000 years ago, when I asked you all to ask me questions and many of you did and it took me like 19 years to answer most of the questions? I know. I'm sick. So, although it's been since APRIL (OMG! These questions came from Aimee in Port Orange, she asks:.

FotoJenic: May 2009
http://fotojenicphotos.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 30, 2009. For the last couple months, I have been participating in a weekly project at I Should Be Folding Laundry. The challenge is called You Capture and once a week, Beth challenges us to go out and capture photos that exemplify a theme. Sometimes, the photos that I take don't fall into one of the nice, neat buckets I've made for myself. So, for that reason, these go in the Misc. pile. Click the image to see it larger. You Capture, Week 13, "Sweet". You Capture, Week 13, "Sweet". Lily of...

FotoJenic: July 2009
http://fotojenicphotos.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 10, 2009. So, I've decided to try something new today. I've been lurking at I Heart Faces. For a while now and have been waiting for the perfect moment to swoop in and introduce myself. The time has come! Today, they are hosting Constructive Feedback Friday. It's an opportunity for amateur photographers to post a photo that they'd like some feedback on from more experienced photographers. How else do you improve without practice and feedback? 3 Any other pointers anyone would like to offer!
