Just a Walk in the Park and Another Cupcake. Last week was sort of a whirlwind because like I said before, we've been trying to do everything outside while the weather is still nice, and starting Nov 1st, life is about to get crazy! Zack is flying home to Utah the first weekend, I'm flying to Chicago the second weekend, my very oldest friends are coming up the third weekend, and Thanksgiving is the fourth weekend! A Day in Brooklyn (a month late). Last month Gunner and I had the funnest day with our friends the Leal's (she blogs over at Cooking Hat. In Brooklyn. If I were to imagine my most perfect summer, it would be the summer of 2013. It had everything! Hiking, Soccer Games, Road Trips, Fireworks, Birthdays, New Babies, and a whole lot of quality time with friends and family! So, that brings me to Reason 2 that 2013 was the BEST EVER! Just My Gunner and Me. I've been getting over a mild case of pneumonia (who gets pneumonia IN THE SUMMER when they're 9 MONTHS PREGNANT? I do dishes like Daddy! Smart, smart boy! And lucky me, because both of the men in my life do dishes! Once it's nap time, I snuggle into his bed with him to sing some songs. He's usually pretty willing to climb into bed. The boy needs his sleep, just like his mama! Or "if you want to help bake cookies you have to take a nice long nap! Thank you our day. Thank you my Papa.

Sunday, January 29, 2012. Things are looking up! Well the last few months have been amazing! Not only did we visit our families in Utah, but we've also made a commitment to spend more time at the beach. And let's just say we have lived up to that commitment. While home for the holidays I didn't take as many pictures as I wish I would've. My nieces and nephews are so freaking cute. I wish I had a million pictures of each of them! Needless to say, upon my arrival back in Hawaii I was feeling refreshed!

Monday, October 3, 2011. I mean the island is beautiful, and there are a lot of fun things to do and see, but I just wish I could be sharing it with my family too.
