Snow job | Pax Attack
https://paxattack.wordpress.com/2011/02/02/snow-job
February 2, 2011 · 5:51 pm. I was SO excited for a snow day. And then I opened my garage door to find a snow drift across the entire driveway measuring 3-4 feet in height. Talk about a snow job. I almost turned around and went back to bed. We only received about 20 inches of snow last night, but the wind basically wrapped piles of snow around the south side of our house. The drifts in my yard were so high that I had to go shovel it over the fence, for fear of losing my beagle! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Storm warning →. January 31, 2011 · 9:04 pm. A friend, who I will appropriately refer to as IronWoman, took these pictures recently. They are just too charming not to share. I realized that I forgot to mention what a fun time I had with my sister and her husband, who visited a few weeks ago. But tonight, when I stopped by the grocery store and a man in the truck parked next to me offered to take my cart to the return area, I was reminded of something that happened during their stay. No , we responded.

Midwest hospitality →. January 30, 2011 · 3:57 pm. As usual, this semester started off with daunting reading lists and syllabi that were quickly followed by anxiety and self-loathing. If there is anything comforting about this dysfunctional and completely imbalanced lifestyle, it is that we (my peers and I) are in it together. Nonetheless, it is easy to feel stupid and intimidated. For example:. Welcome to my world. 1) I could be profoundly more dumb than I generally feel. Midwest hospitality →. You are ...

Every two weeks the Interpersonal Communication professors and graduate students gather for a reading group, in which we review each other’s work to help facilitate submissions to conferences and journals. Reading group was cancelled tonight due to inclement weather conditions. Inclement weather conditions in IOWA. Oh shit. This must be serious. June 4, 2011 · 4:40 pm. On this same day last year Sim graduated from WWU. We had a really special day and a wonderful graduation/sendoff party at a state park along the ocean. We sincerely thank each one of you who was there with us that day, whether in person or in spirit. So nearly a year ago we arrived in Iowa. For me, it was love at first sight. The green rolling hills, the fields of corn and soy beans, the lakes and rivers, the farms, the wildlife, the forests. The fireflies! One response to “.
