Love, Jordan: "How Could This Happen?"
http://jdunaway.blogspot.com/2014/08/how-could-this-happen.html
06 August, 2014. How Could This Happen? Just a few days after deciding to begin blogging again, something unthinkable happened. Something I thought, at first, that I would not even begin to be able to discuss publicly until some time had passed. But here I find myself at my keyboard, wanting to share what happened with our friends and family who we've kept in the dark so far. I took another test to be sure, then changed my appointment to a pre-natal visit. At my 8 week ultrasound, we saw our little blueb...

Love, Jordan: Here Comes Hayes: 1 Week Update
http://jdunaway.blogspot.com/2015/07/here-comes-hayes-1-week-update.html
23 July, 2015. Here Comes Hayes: 1 Week Update. How can this be? Didn't I just meet my precious bundle of joy yesterday? How can he be one week old already? When I was pregnant and desperately wanting to have Hayes in my arms already, time seemed to CRAWL. Now that he's here, time is flying by and my new-mommy-hormones can't take it! How am I handling motherhood? I love it more than I could ever imagine. However, I'm experiencing ALL the feelings you can think of and I cry. Like, a lot. Hayes is Wild One!

Love, Jordan: Nursery Update: Paint
http://jdunaway.blogspot.com/2015/03/nursery-update-paint.html
05 March, 2015. Anyway, back to the point. I knew I wanted to go with a gray color for the walls, since most of our house is already in a gray/beige color scheme and it keeps it pretty neutral for adding décor later. The nursery, AKA our old guest/craft room, AKA really just a junk storage room, started off an off-white with yellow undertones. It wasn't bad, just not what I wanted. Also, the ceilings are pretty high. Will it make the room look too cave-like? It exceeded my expectations. Also, in case you...

Love, Jordan: Bump Day - Weeks 10-15
http://jdunaway.blogspot.com/2015/01/bump-day-weeks-10-15.html
23 January, 2015. Bump Day - Weeks 10-15. Time to play catch up! On Sunday, I'll have been pregnant for 16 weeks. It feels like it's been 100 weeks, but that's probably just because I have no patience. And I miss beer. But anyways, I've been documenting the growing baby and belly and have yet to share the photos. Let me warn you. you might be in for a laugh. Justin wanted in on these photos too. He was not about to be left out of this process! He wants to show off how his belly is shrinking. So I opted t...

Love, Jordan: Kitchen Chronicles: Before
http://jdunaway.blogspot.com/2014/08/kitchen-chronicles-before.html
21 August, 2014. Back in June when we found out we were going to have a baby, we immediately thought of all the preparations needed to be done before he/she got here. We wanted to get everything done around the house that we had been putting off before we had a little one crawling around (and the disposable income to do it). We eventually plan to upgrade our appliances to stainless steel. We also plan to add a tile backsplash to the island. Stay tuned for the next step: primed cabinets! Hayes is Wild One!

Love, Jordan: Here Comes Hayes: 3 Week Update
http://jdunaway.blogspot.com/2015/08/here-comes-hayes-3-week-update.html
08 August, 2015. Here Comes Hayes: 3 Week Update. Our little monkey turned three weeks old last Thursday. While he's still super sweet and loves snuggling with us, he's also been extra fussy and now cries to no end for no apparent reason. This was especially troubling for me this past week since Justin went back to work for his new-hire orientation and I was alone with Hayes for the first time. Getting to tag along on Duke and Dakota's evening walk. I haven't been able to walk long distances while re...
