Contessa on the road. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Well, so much for. Our Boat dock looking across to the Yacht Club. The street view to our lot. Golf cart path thru the golf course. Across the street from our lot. We have so many commitments in Nevada especially since we acquired another property near Yerington with some acreage to play, shoot skeet and pretty much be out of the city. The deer here in TX are very small in comparison to the deer in PA…it would take about 3 of them to make one! It was a nice enough park, but again, no wifi, however we had over 300 tv stations! We continued our trip, stopping off at Deming, NM at the Dream Catcher and stayed a couple nights, meeting and enjoying some quality time with Fran and Rich Tilgner, including going out to eat at a great pizza place! We had bacon, egg and cheese english muffins to start the day. As we went down the road, we thought we would stay in Canton at a campground, but then we did a little search and decided to try Timberlake Campground, in Ridgeland/Jackson MS. Boy, we are glad we did! Saturday, 10th, woke to wonderful sunshine!

David n Peggy Dec 2011. Thursday, July 30, 2015. April through July Gate Guarding in Cotulla TX. We got a gate through Riata Oilfield Services, just 5 miles out of Cotulla, TX on the Northcut Ranch. We felt blessed, because our gate had NO mud, and very very nice oilfield workers, whom we got to know pretty well in the 4 months we were there! Of course we treated ‘our’ workers on holidays, Memorial Day, 4th of July, etc. I decorated our gate and made brownies, sometimes they would get too...We arrived at...

David n Peggy Dec 2011. Saturday, May 18, 2013. May 7 through 14th Yosemite, Sequoia, Kings Canyon National Parks, Manzanar National Monument. We enjoyed a Mexican dinner with Jim and Sharon Gutherie at El Jefe’s, and the food was excellent, as was the company on Thursday night, May 8. The Moose club had a Fish N Shrimp Fry – it was excellent and two dinners for $12…what a deal! Sunday, May 11. We headed on up the road, and stopped at the fairgrounds in Bishop, CA which is a place we highly recommend!
