http://justfightlikeagirl.blogspot.com/2014/06/rockstar.html
Adrienne's Fight Against Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Thursday, June 12, 2014. This post is from October 22, 2013 and I'm just now publishing it. I never finished it, but I'm publishing it.* *. Today, I was a rockstar. I worked in the morning. Finished putting grades in for the first term. I called the clinic and made sure a few bills were re-submitted under the correct number. I called my radiation oncologist to talk to them about my heart again and scheduled a CT with angio for tomorrow. Books I've Read in 2014.

Adrienne's Fight Against Hodgkin's Lymphoma: House, MD
http://justfightlikeagirl.blogspot.com/2013/01/house-md.html
Adrienne's Fight Against Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Written Sunday, December 30, 2012. I think the medical system's New Year's Resolution should be to charge me less for their services. I'm just thinking that's a good idea. I feel like a patient on an episode of House. Is it lupus? I'm getting a cat scan on my neck and chest tomorrow to figure out where/what the thing in my neck is. That's like the size of a tennis ball! How does that even fit in my neck? Books I've Read in 2014. The G...

Fantastic Fosters: January 2013
http://verticallygiftedfosters.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Est May 8, 2010. Friday, January 25, 2013. The not so beautiful side of childbirth. I know I have moms that read this that have many more kids than me. I'm not an expert like you, but I do have my 2 cents. If anyone wants to add stuff to the comments, feel free! Some things I wish I would have known:. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat once I was admitted, but I wish I would have eaten more before I was admitted to the hospital. Some glimmers of light during a rough childbirth/recovery:. Next time if we ca...

Fantastic Fosters: December 2012
http://verticallygiftedfosters.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Est May 8, 2010. Saturday, December 8, 2012. Wow that month went fast. If you see my posts on facebook you probably noticed me getting excited a few times this month about his sleep progression. After letting him figure out how to get himself to sleep on his own, we all found out he is a tummy sleeper. This made the unswaddling very easy because his arms can't wake him up when he's on his belly. Naps are a different story. He is starting to nap around the same time everyday which is nice, but I still...

My Life in a Nutshell: Labor and Delivery of Anthony
http://jamievergara.blogspot.com/2013/09/labor-and-delivery-of-anthony.html
My Life in a Nutshell. Sunday, September 1, 2013. Labor and Delivery of Anthony. Fast forward to Monday, August 12. I started having contractions at about 2:00 am that were actually bothering me and I remember thinking to myself, "Seriously? I asked Marco for a blessing and I remember it being all about Anthony. It was interesting and looking back, exactly what I needed at the time. They were so painful yesterday? That hour felt like the longest hour ever. After pushing for not much time, Anthony was bor...

Adrienne's Fight Against Hodgkin's Lymphoma: House, MD to Grey's Anatomy
http://justfightlikeagirl.blogspot.com/2013/01/house-md-to-greys-anatomy.html
Adrienne's Fight Against Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Sunday, January 20, 2013. House, MD to Grey's Anatomy. Written Friday, January 4, 2013. You know how on House they're always trying to figure out what the problem is with the person? Well, that's still kind of me. But now I also kind of feel like the patient that the interns on Grey's are fighting over. Everyone wants to touch my neck! So the ENT referred me to a cardiothorastic surgeon. He told us that it could be anything and, since they don't know, they nee...

Bryce and Ali: Bradley's Birth Story
http://bryceandalinielson.blogspot.com/2014/03/bradleys-birth-story.html
We showed up to the hospital at 10 am (that was killer to not be able to eat for 12 hours). After getting all checked in to admitting, we went to a nice big delivery room and hung out for a while. After a blood draw, IV insertion (which took 2 tries by one assistant nurse and 1 try by the most awesome L&D nurse), and one nasty anti-nausea drink, I was ready to go to delivery. We were so happy to get home after our little less than 48 hours in the hospital. Jake was ready to have us home too. O u r . ...
