Gwen's Bits: January 2009

http://gwensbits.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, January 29, 2009. Finished another scrapbook page! Tuesday, January 27, 2009. I had to make a last minute trip for work to a little town in northwest New Jersey. Yes, I am very tired of the snow! I dream of a nice summer barbecue! Saturday, January 24, 2009. We were both very excited. I'm finally gett...

Gwen's Bits: Metallic Challenge

http://gwensbits.blogspot.com/2014/02/metallic-challenge.html

Thursday, February 13, 2014. Club Scrap posted a challenge to use something metallic on scrapbook pages, cards, or other paper crafts this week. This is one of my entries in the challenge:. There are several metallic elements in this layout, featuring my beautiful new grandson. The fiber bow has a silver strand, there is a little white metal safety pin in the journalling tag, and I painted a streak of glue above the picture and added some tiny silver seed beads to add an accent. Baby, it is cold outside.

Gwen's Bits: December 2013

http://gwensbits.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 27, 2013. Baby on My Mind. With the birth of Chris and Vineeta's baby being imminent, I have been thinking about the baby quilts I've made in the last several months. I really enjoy making quilts for the little ones. I can be creative on a little bit smaller scale than a regular quilt. I made this quilt for a colleague at work who had a baby during the summer. Thursday, December 26, 2013. I chose a quilting design that didn't have any flowers or frills. Waiting for Our Second Grandson.

Kay's Keepsakes: Cantina Blog Hop

http://kayskeepsakes.blogspot.com/2015/07/cantina-blog-hop.html

Wednesday, July 29, 2015. It's happy hour at the Club Scrap Cantina. Welcome to my stop. Today I was inspired by Dairy Queen marketing. After picking up a frosty treat for my dear daughter and me, I noticed this cardboard cube tower next to the restaurant exit. It stood about as tall as I am. Since it could easily be converted to a tabletop variation using CS papers, I snapped a pic of it on our way out to remember the idea. My photo cube variation of the Dairy Queen Marketing. DebDuzScrappin: Gesso Card 2

http://debduzscrappin.blogspot.com/2015/05/gesso-card-2.html

Scrapbooking and rubber stamping tutorials and inspiration. Sunday, May 17, 2015. Decided to participate in Club Scraps' May Technique Challenge. And here is what I came up. These first two cards, I used watercolor paper as a base. I used stencils and gesso and let dry. I then spritzed with delusions ink spray and let dry. I then used a wet wipe to wipe the color from the gesso to make them pop out a bit. The majority of the materials used in this project are from ClubScrap. May 20, 2015 at 8:06 PM.
