And then there were four. The following are pics of Sophie's field trip to the James K. Polk Historic Home. The first couple are some games they played. The next couple are at their preschool 'hoedown'.Stone's first performance. He was so cute. This final pic is so sad.Sophie picked up a jalapeno pepper that I was chopping and rubbed her hands all over her face. It was on fire as you can probably tell! I quickly googled what to do and supposedly shaving cream kills the burn. It worked! Links to this post.

And then there were four. Its still an hour long but felt like three. So this year I took a different approach. We went without a group and declined the wagon ride. We got there early so it was only 85 instead of 100 degrees. The trip through the zoo was half an hour shorter AND in the AIR CONDITIONING! The second best part is that this activity lends itself to a second activity - bathtime! They take baths while I clean up, and bathtime is complete:). Dying for a blog update.
