Creative Creatures: January 2013
http://scrappamammy.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Created to be Creative! Tuesday, 29 January 2013. Better Late Than Never! Back in November, I did what I do each year in either September or November, I took a photo a day (or, at least one photo a day). I found, much to my dismay, that Picasa doesn't work on a Mac the way I am used to, and so I have resorted to the quickest option I could find - emailing the photos to myself. From iPhoto, ten at a time! I don't know if I had chosen a different method I could include more photos. Oh well. I have noticed ...

Creative Creatures: Insomnia
http://scrappamammy.blogspot.com/2013/03/insomnia.html
Created to be Creative! Wednesday, 13 March 2013. O sleep, O gentle sleep,. Nature's soft nurse, how have I frightened thee,. That thou no more will weigh my eyelids down,. And steep my senses in forgetfulness? 8213; William Shakespeare. You steal my sleep and wreak havoc on my soul. Once you were precious, the creator and sustainer of life,. But now you remind me of my age, you forecast the end. Relieve me from this living death and give me the craving of my soul. 8213; Diane Sylvester.

Creative Creatures: September 2012
http://scrappamammy.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Created to be Creative! Friday, 14 September 2012. Creating in the Kitchen. There was a time when I would say I hate cooking but I have realised that I don't actually hate cooking, I just don't like cooking for people who won't like what I have cooked. I am forever trying to come up with new and interesting ways to make meals and snacks that are failsafe. And acceptable to everyone. An unlikely event, methinks, but I still keep trying. So here's a recipe of sorts. Stir them up a little and cook for anoth...

Creative Creatures: Photos from March
http://scrappamammy.blogspot.com/2013/09/photos-from-march.html
Created to be Creative! Friday, 6 September 2013. Okay, so I have had some blog posts brewing and stewing for quite some time now. So while I work on getting one down on paper, so to speak, here is a collection of photos from March. That was SO long ago! Applying my motto - take a photo and throw it away. :). Rainbow Nails. Caitlin is our resident nail artist. Our neighbour preserved our olives (That's a very big jar full. And the olive tree in the background). My mixed media layout that I did with Finn.

Creative Creatures: March 2013
http://scrappamammy.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Created to be Creative! Friday, 29 March 2013. How sweet to have an extra gathering of our church family to start our Easter celebrations today! How lovely to have a day to take a break from work and all the normal demands of everyday life! So, instead of washing, I made gluten-free hot cross buns. Instead of cleaning, the kids and I decorated eggs (emptied for scrambled eggs this morning). This is a good, Good Friday. Thursday, 21 March 2013. A Few Things Found. It was the one! When I went to visit Dad ...

Creative Creatures: November 2012
http://scrappamammy.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Created to be Creative! Tuesday, 27 November 2012. I'm here, I'm here, Jo! That title has little to do with this post except to state that I have not fallen off the face of the earth or vanished into thin air. :). I did this layout way back in 2006 for the Scrap 52 Challenge. At the time this slightly avant garde (for me anyway) layout was a representation of my head exploding with creative ideas. In those days I did at least 2 layouts a week. Phew! I went to the the Low Carb Nutrition Seminar. One of th...

Creative Creatures: I remember
http://scrappamammy.blogspot.com/2013/02/i-remember.html
Created to be Creative! Tuesday, 19 February 2013. Uralla Cemetery, Sunday, 21 September 2008 6:37 AM. If you go to the cemetery in a little town called Uralla you might see a headstone under a cluster of gum trees engraved with a poem. She left us ere we knew her. Yet we loved her from the start. She’s now with God in heaven. And she’s with us in our hearts. We will not see her growing. Nor kiss her pretty face,. But we’ll always have her memory. And in our hearts a place. United we will be.

Creative Creatures: October 2012
http://scrappamammy.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Created to be Creative! Friday, 19 October 2012. From Undies to Easter Eggs (or Halloween Chocolate). YOU MAY NOT WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS STUFF. Image courtesy of Salvatore Vuono at FreeDigitalPhotos.net. For quite some time now there has been a little niggle in my heart/mind about the ridiculous price of clothes at K-Mart. Not ridiculous as in highly-priced but ridiculous as in so cheap that it makes me expel air in a "phrrrrrttt" kind of way and question "HOW? How can the prices be so low? I haven't ev...

Creative Creatures: December 2012
http://scrappamammy.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Created to be Creative! Tuesday, 25 December 2012. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God. Something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death. 8212;even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him. New International Version 1984 (NIV1984). Or come along to our church.
