The following stories are true stories and testimonies of friendship or of communications between Icelanders and the elves or the Hidden people here in Iceland, - in modern times. The hidden people of Álftaver. Two halfsisters, Hallbera Eiríksdóttir and Þóra Brynjólfsdóttir, lived on the farm Hraungerði in Álftaver. They were clairvoyant and claimed to see things invisible to other people; they even said they saw the hidden people. These sisters were good and trustworthy women.).

They showed him their children, too, and God thought highly of them. He asked Eve whether she had any more children beside these she had shown him, and she replied, no. But the truth of the matter was that Eve had not finished washing some of the children and had been ashamed to let God see these. And for this reason she had hidden them away.

On our second to last night in the westfjords we cashed in natalie’s free night stay in ísafjörður.
