I guess we're not very good "bloggers" in terms of getting new things posted frequently :) But at least we've finally sorted through our photographs and got them posted online. Thank you so much to our families and all of our wedding guests who helped contribute to us taking our honeymoon trip. It was a really amazing trip of a lifetime! Links to this post.

Monday, November 7, 2011. Big Giant Snow Flakes. But that it then dumps snow for weeks following our move to cover that mountain in snow for the opening day of ski season (Dec. 3rd). Some of you may know that when I moved to Portland, almost 4 years ago now, I left my kitty, Milla, with my mom. She has found her home there ever since and I have been without a kitty companion. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Well the weather here is finally starting to change. Most of the of the Aspen's have lost their golden leaves, but the Tamarack (or Larch as they are called in MT) needles are starting to change to their own golden color. It's really amazing to see whole hillsides that appeared to be covered with evergreens during the summer now turning a brilliant yellow. From 2011-10-02 Glacier NP. Earlier this week we also had our first snow! That's all for now! Its been too long.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Then on Saturday we get to watch the Oregon-Oregon State "Civil War" football game. Ryan's groomsman James will be hosting a game watching party in Portland. It will be great to finally have other people to root on the Beavers with! April 19, 2014. We enjoyed a "leisurely" 40 mile bike ride through Mount Vernon, WA during the Tulip Festival. Although the smell of cow poop often overtook the charm of the area all in all it was a great day. The last 10 miles led us to the always amazing tulip fields and into the incoming storm. December 31, 2013. It seems like yesterday that we were ringing in 2013. Well, I guess the saying is true, "time flies when you are having fun". I started school again in January to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Despite their disabilities, and all the other daily drama we all experience, they are just happy to be here hanging out with their friends and teammates. December 21, 2013. We were able to sneak away to Whistler B.C. for a few days before Christmas to enjoy some R&R and skiing. Although the snow wasn't optimal it was still great fun. May 4, 2013. Special Olympics Unified Soccer. This year we signed Annissa up for Special Olympics Unified soccer, instead of track. Unified means that the team is made up of 3 regular-ed soccer players that partner with 3 special-ed soccer players during each game. Ultimately we all learned a lesson . so we will be back to track next year, which Annissa is VERY excited about.
