Alhamdulillah, it's Friday. The first Friday of Rabiulawwal, double blessings. I have started a beginner's conversational Arabic class which is very fun. Taught by a teacher from Madrasah Aljunied. He began by outlining the purpose of learning Arabic. Rasulullah (saw) said:. والغة اهل الجنة عرب. There are 3 reasons for loving Arabic, I am Arab, and the Al-Quran is revealed in Arabic, and the language of Paradise is Arabic. O ye that believe!
