I have been dreading coming on here because I feel like there is an overwhelming amount to catch up on. Dude, it's been like three months since I last posted. SOOOO, I decided to NOT catch up, and just tell you guys the current stuff! Claire had a Hawaiian-themed birthday party at our house yesterday. The girls had a blast! On Thursday, we headed down to Branson to see Julia clog at Silver Dollar City with her dance troupe (I drove most of the way. Yikes! I was nervous, but the drive was successful :D). Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Ever seen New in Town. It was never very popular, but my mom and I think it's such a cute movie! Anyways, one of the characters is this Minnesotan lady who is famous in the little town for her secret Tapioca recipe. Only, in her exaggerated Minnesotan accept, she says "Tee-yeah-pee-ohw-cuh.". So, it got me thinking two things. 1) Do Minnesotan people really have a strong accent? 2) What is tapioca? Turns out its a starch derived from the cassava plant. We made tapioca pudding:.
