Marjean & Aaron Stringer: Compatability
http://mastringer.blogspot.com/2011/07/compatability.html
Marjean and Aaron Stringer. Sunday, July 31, 2011. One of my favorite pictures. This was while we were still in the hospital. Aaron had gone to a Utes game that day (at my insistence, really! I knew it was hard for Aaron to sit in the hospital, and we had bought those tickets, and I wanted him to use them.) Aaron had just gotten back from the game, and Piper just watched and watched him. Isn't it an adorable picture? Although I don't hold out much hope for them, I do love them! July 31, 2011 at 9:16 PM.

Marjean & Aaron Stringer: Summer Fun
http://mastringer.blogspot.com/2011/07/summer-fun.html
Marjean and Aaron Stringer. Monday, July 18, 2011. I don't really have much to blog about, so I thought I would just post some pictures of some of the activities Piper has been up to lately. Enjoying her first ice cream cone - completely solo, without any help from Mom or Dad. A proud moment for us ice cream lovers. A phrase she learned from another kid at the park. She also loves the swings, but since I have to stand right there in case she falls off, I haven't got a picture of her on the swings. I espe...

Marjean & Aaron Stringer: June 2011
http://mastringer.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Marjean and Aaron Stringer. Friday, June 24, 2011. Last weekend we took Piper to Thanksgiving Point to see their farm animals. We saw goats, Llamas, turkeys, chickens, peacocks, horses, cows, pigs, ducks and rabbits. Piper's favorite thing was riding a pony. She was so excited and thought it was awesome! Trying to pet the Llama. Not quite sure about the goat. Then she sees the horses. "I want that! Then it was time to pet some animals. No, she wanted to go back and watch the ugly chickens! Piper may not ...

Piper had a great first Christmas and she was able to meet her aunt Rachel, Mama Jane and Papa Doc and Pops. Piper with Mama Jane and Papa Doc. Mommy and Piper with some of Piper's loot. Marjean and Aaron Stringer. Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Sorry a long time I know. I really need to get better at this. The last couple of months have actually been more eventful than most. I guess it's time to finally post some pictures. First event - Nina and Papa's visit. Joe and Lynn came up to visit us and to celebrate Aaron turning the big 30 in early September. Piper getting her face painted at Soldier's Hollow. To celebrate Aaron turning 30, we had a BBQ with some friends. Piper with Nina and Papa.

April 3rd, 2009. Obama and the disturbing influence of Frank Marshall Davis. Much has been written about the fact that Frank Marshall Davis. Was a mentor to the young Barack Obama. But Davis was an unusual role model. I have also dismissed it as irrelevant. Because the truth is that Davis was already influential enough in Obama’s life without needing to be an actual blood relative. Living in Hawaii, he was a good friend of Obama’s grandfather Stanley Armour Dunham. The man who actually was. I was intrigu...

Marjean & Aaron Stringer: February 2010
http://mastringer.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Marjean and Aaron Stringer. Tuesday, February 16, 2010. A couple of weeks ago, I took Piper to her first trip to see great Grandma Penrod, a trip which has been way too long overdue. Grandma spends most of the month rotating between her daughters and only spends one week in Genola. We drove down a couple of days in a row to see Grandma Penrod. I love my grandma so much! Piper and great grandma Penrod. Four generations of Penrod women: Grandma Hurst, Grandma Penrod, Mommy and Piper. Things in our life.
