Sunday, April 3, 2011. More fun in 2011.sort of. For Adam's birthday this year the boys and I made him a very different kind of cake. We made three different kinds of cake balls which we then dipped in chocolate, white chocolate, and vanilla flavored frosting. then we loaded on the candles! Sunday, June 26, 2011. A visit from Grandpa Tubbs and Aunt Katie. Summertime for the boys is always full of fun, adventures and critters. Grandpa Tubbs. And Aunt Katie were able to come with their kiddos for a week which just added to all the good times. We spent time fishing, catching lizards, frogs, tadpoles and eventually even an opossum. And a skunk. We caught the opossum. During Dad and Katie's visit. That was probably every ones. Grandpa Tubbs and "cousin" Emily. Aunt Katie with Kayin and Karalee.

Saturday, July 30, 2011. Portland Timbers soccer team. We want to make it a goal to see at least one professional soccer game every year. Maybe next time we'll take the boys! Friday, July 29, 2011. Ultrasound pictures of our girl. I probably should have put an announcement in here by now that we are expecting our fourth baby - this time a girl! The thought of that is both exciting and intimidating. I felt much more prepared for my boys. We kept our little announcement. On the down low. Class They are sooo.

Monday, December 26, 2011. Christmas was a little.slim this year because of the new practice but we were very proud of the boys and the gratitude they showed for everything they did receive. The whole season was a joy and the best part was to see that even though they were excited about Santa and their presents, they also showed us continually that they knew and understood the real reason for celebrating Christmas. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. We are starting to discover some of the great hiking trails around Medford. It's a few miles in and the end is quite steep so the boys were getting pretty tired but when we did finally reach the top and saw the view, Calvin's comment was, "Wow! This was so worth it! Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Calvin's first pine wood derby. I love that Adam's current calling as the cub master enables him to be involved with Calvin in cub scouts. They had so much fun carving his pine wood derby car and painting it like a camoflauged hummer. Unfortunately the paint didn't set up quite right so it slowed the car down. Tuesday, March 20, 2012. For Adam's 34th birthday we went to a Brian Reagan comedy act in Eugene with our good friends Michael and Anna Allen. Anna was a dear and helped me surprise Adam by turning our empty house in Roseburg into a romantic bed and breakfast. We had such a great time while they watched the boys for us. Sunday, October 30, 2011. The best part, and where the idea originated. Was that he buried these candy bones and skulls in each one of the plots that the boys got to dig out with a spoon. Not at all morbid, right? Autumn is always so much fun, especially with the beautiful Indian summer we are having.
