West Family: October 2008

Saturday, October 18, 2008. Tatum's 1st Softball Game. This fall we signed Tatum up for softball. Since there were not many 4 yr olds to sign up, they put her on the 6 and under team. She along with everyone else was getting bored with just practicing, but she enjoyed her first game. She hit the ball on the second pitch and got a double! We were so proud of her! She was just as proud! Thursday, October 16, 2008. My Mommy and Daddy say bad words. Monday, October 6, 2008. Your Belly Button has a smiley face.

Monday, June 1, 2009. 2 copays and a prescription. 5yr check up - Weighed in at 42 lbs and 42 in tall. She is 50% in both. Everything was great except a rattle on her right side. Last week AShlyn had walking pneumonia, so it came as no surprise. Dr. told me to watch for a couple of days, if she gets worse start her on the steroid. He is trying to sit on his own, and is rolling over both ways and sometimes more than one roll at a time. Just a few beach pics of the kids playing in the water!

Monday, May 24, 2010. Overwhelmed and Sleep Deprived. Are not a good combo. I could handle the to do list; if I could sleep. I could sleep if my seven month old would sleep. My child has been such a good sleeper up to this point so I'm not exactly the best living in a constant haze of sleep deprevation. I did buy one. The Carrie Diaries. Even as I'm writing this I'm doing laundry and thinking about dinner. So here's to a pool book and a nap :) and maybe getting a tan while I nap? Tuesday, May 18, 2010.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Bad Things Happen in "Threes". The last two weeks in this household have been crap- tastic. To say the least. My mother always said that bad things come in threes. This HAS to be number three, Internet. I will write more about the professional side of the insanity later. Most of these issues revolve around the joys (read: OMG. Last night as I was laying in bed I thought " hmm. So an electrician will be here tomorrow to repair the circuit. And for those of you who are counting, n...

Saturday, October 31, 2009. First things first, Elsie got a good report yesterday. She is now 1 lb 14 oz, and is up to 4 CCs. Of breast milk every three hours. Each time she is increased to 4 CCs. As I was sitting there today, watching her breathe, I couldn't help but think about all the new vocabulary terms we have learned and come to use in our conversations. So here are a few:. BRADY (or 'A's and 'B's) - this is what the episodes are called. Apnea and Bradycardia. Is when she stops breathing and her h...

Baileyville, USA: Day 2
http://baileyvilleusa.blogspot.com/2010/06/day-2.html
Thursday, June 10, 2010. Most of y'all know Elsie has awful reflux. She takes medicine five, FIVE, times a day. As soon as she started to show signs, we started solids. It's taken her a good five weeks of 'practice', but I think she may have gotten it! Yesterday was the first day on no Bethanecol. One of the reflux medicines. She hardly spit up and slept well last night. We also started cereal at night. I mixed it with homemade apples and she loved it. So it's fun to look forward to the next size :).
