Friday, June 29, 2012. Easy Come, Easy Go. I think before Wyatt was born, and really even now, the things I've thought would be the biggest struggles have turned out to be no big deal. I say that without exception. Nursing? No problem . that was easy. Dropping mid-night feedings? Not a problem. Weaning? Not hard at all. Taking him out of his swaddle? Easy peasy. Thursday, May 24, 2012. Two years ago today, I woke up at Northside Hospital. I was 8 days past my due date, and my midwife had insisted that I must go ahead and let them induce labor. I kept hoping and hoping that I would go into labor on my own, but it was not to be. Shim was a stubborn little thing! Friday, May 31, 2013. A Very Happy Birthday to a Very Special Boy! I'm a week late on this, but what is new? We celebrated Wyatt's THIRD birthday last week. I just don't even know how we went from this . To this in just three years! We started celebrating Wyatt on Thursday by taking cupcakes to his school. Friday, October 26, 2012. We've suspected for quite some time that Wyatt was going to be left handed. His Pediatrician told me that hand dominance wasn't really decided until age 2-3 although I don't really agree with that - he's always favored his left hand. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. We had a wonderful Easter weekend! I realize that was about 3 weeks ago, but I'm just now getting around to posting photos. We started out our weekend at the lake on Friday night. Wyatt and Ellie actually went up earlier in the day and the weather was beautiful so they enjoyed playing outside and riding all their toys all afternoon. Thursday, June 6, 2013. Although Wyatt's actual Birthday fell on the 24th, we ended up having his party the following weekend, mostly due to the fact that his actual was on Memorial Day. (Now if I'd only listened to my mother and my doctor and just let them induce me around his actual due date this wouldn't have been a problem. Oh well. Hindsight).
