Tuesday, July 14, 2015. End of the school year. End of the year piano recital at their teacher's house. They did a great job this year with piano. They all played in the district festival and got I's and great scores on theory (Will got over a 90%). So that means they will play in the fall statewide festival, probably in October. Monday, July 28, 2014. An Italian pizza birthday party. We had an Italian pizza party for the kids' 8 and 1/2 birthday party this year. We had cupcakes and cookies that looked like pizza, pizza, salad and breadsticks, of course! The only problem is that Bentley can get the games off the shelves now. Yeah - there have been many times when we walk in the den and see game pieces all over the floor. ;). Thursday, September 22, 2011. We had such a great time on vacation this year. We made the trip down to Branson to our condo and, aside from the people above us sounding like they were bowling every morning at 6 am, we loved it! One word of advice- Don't read "The Shack" while vacationing with your small children. Its a fantastic book but it definitely contributed to my meltdown at the Sights and Sounds Theatre. Monday, February 24, 2014. A few weeks ago, I found a piano on CL! We borrowed my neighbors truck, rented a trailer from U-Haul and strapped that baby on. Easy peasy. Well.at least for me. I didn't have to lift that baby. HA! Anyway, one day, I'm gonna refinish it and make it pretty. I just have to decide what to do before I do all the work. ;). The kids have been LOVING it! Shark week.still. I think that will be the name of that song! And hes a chip off the old block mama! He can hear it!
