Sunday, November 30, 2014. Some (Gavin) ask for a lot. Yes, that is a pool 4' wide and 6' deep for #3, and a heater for that pool. Others (Jacob) are a bit more conservative and a bit nerdy. Friday, November 14, 2014. Here comes the snow. They are geared up and ready for snow and cold. Lucked out and got about the last pair of snow pants left in the stores for Jacob. Thursday, August 21, 2014. We moved our annual week at the lake back a couple weeks, to mid-August to help cover our child care gaps this summer. We had a glorious week of weather, clear water, clean beaches, and great company. Thursday-Feldewerds, Blommels, Gillespies and Pete I. Friday, April 10, 2015. We haven't been to Melrose in a while. Basketball season kept us busy and left us little time to head north. But last weekend was Easter weekend, so we made the trip up to Melrose. On Saturday Alyssa hosted a quick Easter Egg hunt for the kids. They all had fun finding their eggs. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Mid-April, Fred took the boys camping at Minneopa State Park by Mankato. There was a camper cabin available and Fred was up for an outing with the boys. Jacob and Gavin's school had their Family Fun Night on Friday night, but they were willing to skip that to head out camping. My mom came down to hang with Wyatt at Family Fun Night while I worked the raffle table. Fred took a sick day after staying up so late putting together the birthday present. He took the boys for bagels and picked up cupcakes for Jacob's class before dropping them off at school. Friday, July 25, 2014. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Mitchell which had a slide that Jacob and Gavin were tall enough to go on. There was a kiddy pool with little slide for Wyatt too, so everyone was happy to play in the pool for a while that evening. In the morning we wandered around the parking lot and found 24 different state license plates. Thus started our challenge to try to find all the states' license plates.
