She holds an MA in Sociology from York University where her studies focused on women's sexuality and queer youth. Cheryl’s work has been published in The Journal of Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Identity, The Journal of Homosexuality, The Journal of Bisexuality, Herizons, Fireweed. And the book called I Could Not Speak My Heart: Education and Social Justice for Gay and Lesbian Youth.
