http://thepresburys.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, 27 August 2009. Catch up - My Birthday weekend over 2 months ago! I was spoiled rotten by my family and friends. Wow I started this post a week after my birthday and was awaiting some photos from a friend to finish it, but he hasn't been to well and then the packing up and moving I'm only just doing it now. Me and Beth at St. Pancras train station. So one more year before I hit the big 50 and i'm scared by that thought, mainly because although my body is aging inside I don't feel that old.

Our journey took longer than before because we took Maizie with us and needed to stop more, she was really good on the journey. Beth and Maizie taking a nap on our journey. Lucas had changed and filled out in the 10 days since I had seen him, he is a real sweetheart and he doesn't cry very much at all. Carolyn and Dav...

The Presburys: July 2009
http://thepresburys.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 8 July 2009. A Tribute to Smurf - By Beth. Another sad day in the Presbury house hold, we lost Smurf over the. Weekend and once again our Beth has made a beautiful but very sad tribute. Smurf, or as we often called him Smurfy - Jet black in colour, with a little. White spot on the front of his neck. He was quite the character and purred like a little tractor afraid of nothing. And game for everything! He was very soft and gentle and loved to play and have his belly tickled. Caught and left the...

Presburys Down Under: July 2014
http://presbury.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Josh is a pretty good reader but has struggled to find a book that he could really loose himself in until now. He came home from school with one of the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books. Within a couple days he had read the entire book. I surprised him the following day with the complete set. Two weeks later and hours upon hours of reading he has completed nearly 4 of the 7 books. January 2014 in review. In our intense week we were well looked after by new near and dear friends. Every day we found new sur...

Presburys Down Under: October 2014
http://presbury.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
The first 3 weeks in OZ! I couldn't have made this trip without the help of my Mom. She was so helpful making our journey over and once we arrived she pushed through with so much energy as I crashed. From the minute we arrived she began unpacking our suitcases and helped the kids get settled into our new home. I on the other hand continued to fall asleep as Rebecca slept. I think it was now time for my body to catch up and recover from having a baby and making a huge move. Lots of baby cuddles. Racha...

Nearly 2500 km (1553 miles) and 30 hours of driving in 7 days. What an amazing adventure we had. It was a sort of last minute trip, we had been talking about it for months but decided last minute to finally go. With bags packed into a full car we headed off on our first stretch of 7 hours to our first destination. While Aaron took the kids to swim at the pool I stayed back packing up the cabin while Rebecca took a nap. I had some extra time to take some photos, I loved it! Back in the car we began our tr...

Presburys Down Under: Love
http://presbury.blogspot.com/2015/07/love.html
Love is the only force that can erase the differences between people or abridge the chasms of bitterness". Love is the very essence of life. Love is the security for which children weep, the yearning of youth, the adhesive that binds marriage, and the lubricant that defeats devastating friction in the home. It is the peace of old age, the sunlight of hope shining through death. How rich are those who enjoy it in their associations with family friends and neighbors.". Gordon B. Hinckley-. Sometimes love s...
