David, Amy, Ali and Maddie. Monday, August 13, 2012. So it's only been four months since my last post.where has the time gone? A lot of happenings since Ali's first birthday back in February. I'll try to get caught up in one post. March = David and I took a small trip over to San Antonio during Spring Break while Ali stayed with grandma Vick. Ali started taking a few steps, loves going to Starbuck's (she didn't really drink the coffee! And really likes her new bike seat! We have a trip planned at the end...

David, Amy, Ali and Maddie. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. We traveled to Kansas for Christmas this year, and were able to see family and friends. We spent the first couple of nights at David's sister's house. Ali had a lot of fun playing with her cousins, Avery and Lincoln. The rest of our time in Kansas was spent with my family. Ali was able to see her cousins Tristen and Titan, and thankfully got to see her great-grandparents Grandma and Grandpa Green and great-grandpa Price. Posted by Amy Figliola.

David, Amy, Ali and Maddie. Sunday, March 4, 2012. Ali has had a lot going on in her first year of life! After not wanting to be born on her due date, fighting the doctor's plan of the first induction, and just really not wanting to come out.here we are a year later! As I look back at this year, I can't believe what the Figliola family has been through. In June, Ali and I were able to spend a week or so in Kansas before making another trip back down to Houston. This time, it was our "for good" move.

Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Oh the places you will go! The boys started school today - 1 1/2 weeks after they would have started if we hadn't moved. It was weird to start later than so many other kids in town, but nice as well. Brett's teacher - Mrs. Sudac. Brady's teacher - Miss Thompson. They were excited to find out they had lockers. So cute! Friday, October 26, 2012. I love Halloween. I LOVE pumpkins. Sure wish it would have stayed 80 degrees, but it worked out well (at least for me! For Ed to carve the pumpkins while we fixed/ate dinner tonight. The boys looked at some pictures and gave their final requests. Ed did a great job! Friday, July 27, 2012. We went to Worlds of Fun the Monday after the All-Star Fan Fest - it was actually overcast and not crazy hot for most of the day - and there were NO LINES. Worlds of Fun was our bday present to Brett this year and he waited patiently for us to go. He is definitely the family daredevil and loves all rides. We rode a lot of flying, go around and around rides - which Ed DOES NOT love, but Brady does :). I had forgotten about these old cars -. Brett kept asking to ride the Mamba -.

We expect many more of these in our future as the boys won't be playing fall soccer and will just have the fall (short) baseball season. LOVES fruit - if you have an entire container of strawberries/grapes/blackberries, he will probably eat them. Can be the sweetest child or a devil child (and if he's being a devil child, he will probably call you "Maniac! Athletic and competitive - always shows great effort when playing sports. And then I decided the only thing nicer than spending the morning shopping was spending the afternoon at a bakery, so I made it my plan to find Hummingbird Bakery in Notting Hill.
