So what’s with the names? | Mo Betta We Take 'em
https://mobettapapa.wordpress.com/2010/12/12/so-whats-with-the-names
Mo Betta We Take 'em. Life in the world of foster care and adoption. December 12, 2010. So what’s with the names? Ikaika, Maka, Leilani, Pono. These are parts of our kids’ names. Their full names are frankly too long to type every time I mention them, and using just a portion gives them some anonymity, since they don’t go by these parts of their names IRL. They’re Hawai’ian (the names; not the kids). Have you seen the price of land there? You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0.

http://www.mothering4money.com/2013/05/divorceaversary.html
Foster / Adopt Resources. Tales From The Land Of Foster Care. Friday, May 3, 2013. Today marks one year since the divorce was finalized. Our divorce. Darwin and I / Me and Darwin. Whatever. It was supposed to be amicable. Or at least that's what I thought. Guess I was naive. Our bio child has her own cell phone that she uses only to call and text her dad. He doesn't answer or text back. She keeps trying though. For a year now. Everybody thought Darwin would keep in touch with her, at least. I miss you so...
