The Stroups: For when I get home from school
http://thestroups.blogspot.com/2012/09/for-when-i-get-home-from-school.html
Wednesday, September 19, 2012. For when I get home from school. Micah adores his little sister. It's so neat to watch all the little ways he loves on her. Yesterday morning before he left for school Livia was still sleeping so he decided he was going to wrap up a gift for her to open "for when I get back from school.". It was a puzzle. http://thestroups.blogspot.com/2012/08/kindergarten.html

Boston Public Schools had over 300 kids without assignments this year and Micah was one of them. We also applied to a great private school in our neighborhood that we love and have been hoping he could attend for a few years now. The Stroups: long overdue
http://thestroups.blogspot.com/2011/07/long-overdue.html
Friday, July 22, 2011. So it's been way too long since I've posted and I'm trying to think of why. I think this should explain it:. Morning sickness all day. Emotional break downs every day. Anxious. anxious. anxious. We've made it past the first 15 weeks and all is well. This baby is healthy and I just saw his/her little heart beating last week! Every day is a choice to trust God's sovereign plan for us and for this baby. Well keep you in our prayers :). My prayers are with you. I understand, and wi...

The Stroups: About
http://thestroups.blogspot.com/p/about.html
I never thought I would be a city girl. I'm a country girl at heart; I love the mountains, fresh air, and cool, crisp mornings. In 2008, my husband and I moved to the thriving metropolis of Boston to continue his education and manage a house for International Students. This city has really grown on me. It took awhile, but it is slowly becoming home for me. After 9 months in Thailand, my husband was accepted to Yale Divinity School to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Religion (which, has nothing to do wi...

The Stroups: Spinach-Avacado banana bread
http://thestroups.blogspot.com/2012/03/spinach-avacado-banana-bread.html
Thursday, March 01, 2012. What do you do with 3 avocados that are on the verge of going bad and a bunch of leftover spinach in your fridge? You make spinach-avacado banana bread, of course! My mom spent two weeks with us (God bless her! After Calvin was born to help with the kids, help with the house work and help keep me sane. It was so wonderful to have a helping hand to load the dishes, do the laundry and play with the older kids. And of course, now that I have kids of my own I find myself teaching th...
