Thursday, August 15, 2013. Our month of July. The boys spent a lot of time swimming with Nonni this year. They played lots of games in the pool like Queen of the castle. Nonni was the Queen and they had to get in her castle, which was the step. Jake went to the movies for the first "real" time. We took him when he was one but he didn't really sit through the whole thing. This time we saw Monsters University. We had the whole crew with us so Jake would feel comfortable. Saturday, March 19, 2011. Today was the Paddy Dash 5K in Frisco sponsored by the Sunrise Rotary! Team Baby Boot Camp was ready to go in our shirts that said "Training kicks in when luck runs out." We had a great turnout with more than 20 participants and the most fun part of the race was that this was the first 5K for many of our members! It's so fun to set a goal and then reach it! Congratulations to all of you! All in all it was a great day! Our 5K training program will begin the week of March 28th!

Will Shoot 4 Food. Wednesday, July 20, 2011. It was a short trip, but it was a ridiculously fun one. Our flight didn't leave until later in the afternoon, so we still got to do more sightseeing. We did the Chicago River Architectural Boat Tour (it always makes me think of Vince Vaughn in The Break-Up) and then we drove around a bit and had some Chicago-style deep dish pizza. Part of the skyline. Rad. SNL skit, apparently? I don't watch it enough. I prefer the New York/thin crust-style over this.
