Manos: The Hands of Fate. Wednesday, May 29. I would say that Jeremy was, for the most part, accurate in his critique. The dialogue, embarassing; the love story, cliche at best; R2 and 3P0, unbearable; the action, top notch. Since I know Kate went to Rambo: First Blood for the love story, I bet she'll be disappointed by this one, also. But I bet she'll like Yoda too. I hear that Kate is battering some women this evening? My main complaint about MR is that the exposition takes up a lot of time- which is necessary, but the audience *knows* that Tom Cruise is eventually going to be accused of murder, so the first 40 minutes or so are all foreplay.
