Using Pixel King at a Wedding. Last weekend was my first wedding job of the year and a good opportunity to use the Pixel Kings in a real world situation. Here’s what I found:. Pixel released a new firmware v 1020 and it still doesn’t fix compatibility issues with my Canon 550EX’s. The flashes cannot be in Slave or Master mode when using the Kings as they just won’t work properly. Godox Xenergizer 600 first impressions. I recently purchased a Godox Xenergizer 600 portable flash from ebay from Ever Color Studio Shop HK. Price was 310 inc DHL delivery plus import tax which was another 90 or so. Delivery took about 3 or 4 days from purchase. Note although I paid in GBP I had it delivered to Spain whilst on location, so I paid Spanish import fees, it might be different for the UK and other countries due to local tax laws. Pixel King Hyper-Sync Test on the Beach. I just got second Sunpak flash and tried another “Hypersync” shoot using the Pixel King triggers. This time however I used a Canon 5Dmk2 and the results weren’t as good as those when using the Canon 40D. Although the flashes triggered as expected, I wasn’t seeing the same amount of illumination in the resulting image. I used the same triggers flashes lens( 24-105 f4) and model 🙂.
