Defying Gravity

Friday, December 16, 2011. I feel human today. Sunday, December 11, 2011. Here I am again. Mushed in a sound. Of a midnight green sky. The daring young, used to be young man, on the flying trap. Sitting in MY insulated room. In 7th grade again. Today isn't that different from tomorrow. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Squealing, Chanting, Dancing. I play a few notes on my flute. Just a few. Then silently drip into my mount in a few tiny sips of white wine as I await my next adventure. Sunday, January 16, 2011.

Defying Gravity: Erich

http://thefluteguy.blogspot.com/2011/01/erich.html

Sunday, January 16, 2011. I feel many significant changes in my relationships headed toward me. A transposition/transcription of friendship and love. There is great energy all around. I defined and un-define myself anew each day. I will grow in my practice to eat mostly plants and meditate daily. My thoughts are purposeful and powerful. Sleepers awake. Come and sing with me. Our lights will shine. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The measured tree overflows. View my complete profile.

Defying Gravity: October 2009

http://thefluteguy.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 22, 2009. My beloved flute teacher of eleven years who I will eternally adore. Advice, given so perfectly for so many. Ripples in a pond of sound. Effortless beautiful tone colors. Rooted in wisdom, tree-like. Inner Game of Tennis and Music. Angelic melodies dancing through clear sunlight skies. New, fresh, creative flute sounds. You taught me through your words and your silence. My music is real because of you. Each time I now play or speak a word in a flute lesson. At the right time.

Defying Gravity: May 2010

http://thefluteguy.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Monday, May 3, 2010. I recognized the laugh. I'd made that same laugh. Several times. Ok almost daily. The lady was wandering through the parking lot with her cart full of groceries. She was searching. Looking. Hoping she would remember where she parked her car. I loved her laugh because for a tiny moment this afternoon I was her. Today begins my ten day mastercleanse. 9:32pm. This might kill me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Defying Gravity: April 2011

http://thefluteguy.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, April 28, 2011. Squealing, Chanting, Dancing. This morning I awoke naturally around 10:30am without an alarm clock as I have all week. I rode my bike on the west Trinity River trail from 12-2pm riding alongside a glorious river, two graveyards, five bridges, a boathouse and millions of wildflowers. My heart is happy. I play a few notes on my flute. Just a few. Then silently drip into my mount in a few tiny sips of white wine as I await my next adventure. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Flute Fiasco | Just another WordPress.com site

Just another WordPress.com site. Pianists. Treat them well and you’ll never be disappointed. May 2, 2012. Acknowledge that they have a busy schedule – give them music well in advance of the performance date. I cannot stress how important this is, as late notice will make them less enthusiastic about taking on your project, and a rush job in learning a difficult piano part will result in an under prepared performance. Learn your part – before you even approach a pianist, make sure that you know your...
