Continuous Trout Roadtrip: September 2013
http://mtflyfishguide.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Diary of a Seasoned Fly Fishing Guide! Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Hey guys I've been on the rivers for ever and have been busy trying to put together days catching fish for my guests and have let the blog slip, sorry! We had the hottest summer on record and with low rivers and river closures we've had to get creative to put together excellent fishing days but I feel like for the most part we've been getting it done. I got dehydrated a little and feel better now that it's cooler. Stay fishy my friends!

Diary of a Seasoned Fly Fishing Guide! Wednesday, October 23, 2013. One, two, three, now breathe! The Bitterroot has been fishing good one day and slow the next, kinda weather based. Bright sun no good, rain and clouds, real good. There is another month of excellent fishing around here and the Missouri will fish lights out through November also. Links to this post. Continuous Trout Roadtrip: August 2013
http://mtflyfishguide.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Diary of a Seasoned Fly Fishing Guide! Monday, August 19, 2013. Fall is in the air. Man am I glad to see this hot summer coming to a close. I watched some NFL games this week, shot my bow, cleaned my shotguns, and did a few other odds and ends to prepare for the start of fall. Having these diverse seasons and spending time in the fields and streams with family and friends are just a couple of the reasons why we make this magnificent state of Montana our home. Yeah I dig the Fall! Links to this post.

Continuous Trout Roadtrip: Cleaning dogs, guns, and birds!
http://mtflyfishguide.blogspot.com/2015/01/cleaning-dogs-guns-and-birds.html
Diary of a Seasoned Fly Fishing Guide! Saturday, January 10, 2015. Cleaning dogs, guns, and birds! My daughter Logan with a 15 lb Honker she dropped! My wife smacked a nice rooster with what she calls her duck rifle, just to bug me. I'm looking forward to 2015, 2014 was a blast and then ended kind of rough. I'm blessed by God, my family, and a bunch of awesome friends, and I was taken care of. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys making casts to rising trout here shortly. 2015 is going to be the Best!

Continuous Trout Roadtrip: July 2013
http://mtflyfishguide.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Diary of a Seasoned Fly Fishing Guide! Friday, July 26, 2013. Hey guys fishing has been pretty good even though its been in the 90's or 100's the last 26 days. We kinda got our asses kicked yesterday on the Black Foot but today we made up for it with a good day on the Bitterroot. I've been jumping in the water a lot trying to keep cool. I've seen some elk doing the same thing lately. Yesterday we watched an eagle enjoying his freshly slayed merganser for lunch. I love eagles! Links to this post. Shane Cl...

Continuous Trout Roadtrip: New Year 2014, Change of plans
http://mtflyfishguide.blogspot.com/2014/01/new-year-2014-change-of-plans.html
Diary of a Seasoned Fly Fishing Guide! Wednesday, January 1, 2014. New Year 2014, Change of plans. Hey blog, it has been a while since I wrote so here it goes. Starting the new year preparing gear, boats, flies, leader, fly lines, commercial insurance, first aid- blah -blah- blah I could go on. I'm taking a sabbatical from guiding. For the first time in 13 years I am going to spend the first six months of 2014 not in a drift boat but with my wife, kids, and dogs. I'm going to reconnect with the mount...

Continuous Trout Roadtrip: February 2015
http://mtflyfishguide.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Diary of a Seasoned Fly Fishing Guide! Friday, February 13, 2015. February the 13th FRIDAY! My good friend Craig and I drove to Craig, (MT town), and fished the MO for a couple of days. I wanted to break in my new boat and Craig wanted to swing up some fish on his spey rod. He can really bomb line out across the river with that thing, I wanted to try it but I was afraid to embarrass myself. A good caster like Craig can effortlessly shoot 100 feet of line and make it look simple. Get out there when you can.

Continuous Trout Roadtrip: Rowing Yo Rowing!
http://mtflyfishguide.blogspot.com/2015/01/rowing-yo-rowing.html
Diary of a Seasoned Fly Fishing Guide! Monday, January 26, 2015. We had a Scandinavian supper in Hamilton at the Lutheran Church, Jan 2015. A couple of years ago I remember guiding about 20 days in a row in some real windy, rainy, snowy, just plain unpleasant conditions. I remember daydreaming as I'm rowing as hard as I can to get my boat to float down river in a 30MPH up river wind. Did my Norske ancestors ever get tired of rowing those viking ships?
