Monday, May 26, 2014. Monday, March 24, 2014. Riding the Staten Island Ferry. The Statue of Liberty is somewhere in the background. Our ferry boat had a machine gun Coast Guard escort. After we stepped off the Ferry we went for a walk in Battery Park and stumbled across a turkey walking around. Apparently her name is Zelda. And she's lived in Battery Park for a few years. Bad cat climbed the fridge. I made a cake for my cousin's bridal shower this weekend. I think it turned out pretty well!

We're the Juneau Mendenhall Flying Lions of Alaska! Monday, August 3, 2015. You never know what the weather will bring on the day we decide to pick up litter on our stretch of road that takes you to the Mendenhall Glacier. It wasn't too littered as other good citizens help keep this stretch of road clean. But this was a good litter pick up day. :).
