My starter - foie gras with toasts. Ok so I normally enjoy eating foie, but then I saw blood and immediately got grossed out. I know, I know. So I ended up eating the toasts with a very light spread of foie on each piece. I must have had only 5% of the foie you see on that plate. At least @timoneil enjoyed his Croque Monsieur. Posted on 5 August, 2015. Poor guy. So jet lagged! I on the other hand was starving since I missed lunch. He was a trooper and accompanied me to Cafe Reichard for a quick bite. Our apple strudel came out before our spaghetti and it was everything I’d hoped for. So warm, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The cream sauce wasn’t too sweet. Found this neat, unmarked restaurant that serves empanadas, so naturally I had to try it out. @timoneil got chicken and I got the jambon et fromage. So warm and delicious!
