Saturday, July 30, 2011. So here's what has been going on this week! First Mon. and Tues. were just prep days for training and running last minute errands, ect. Wednesday to Friday was New RD training and it was GREAT! So many new things to learn about and grow in but it was so helpful and I finally feel a little more aware of what is going on around here : ). Here are some pics from last night. Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Tonight has been an amazing night. Let's just say living in a dorm full of girls has its perks when you have a birthday : ) To start the evening, my RAs took me out to Claim Jumpers for birthday dessert. We laughed, talked and had an impromptu dance party to PINK in the parking lot (which was much needed by the way). The Dream Team".I LOVE THESE GIRLS! SO thankful for each of them! Sunday, September 18, 2011. Volleyball games and Such. Over the last week, we have had so many "highs" and things to be thankful for! This week was the first official "GIRLS' NIGHT" at our aprtment. Every Wednesday from here-on-out is forever going to be called GIRLS NIGHT. This involves alot of munchies, good chats and an ALIAS episode. For our first night I think we had about 20 girls show up! It was so fun and I can't wait until next week to have another one : ). Here are some pics from last night.

Sunday, August 21, 2011. Well, I know it's been a while but there has just been SO much happening these last 3 weeks! The Lord is reminding me daily that He deserves all the glory no matter what the cost, whether it feels easy or not but to trust what He is doing in my life to make me look more like Him. And directly tied to that, Matt and I are praising the Lord for blessing us with the privilege of being at Master's and serving college students. Also, praise the Lord, Matt just got a job 2 days ago!

Monday, October 31, 2011. Today my friend Sarah, and I ventured out to the Melrose Trading Post. It was absolutely wonderful. It's basically this HUGE flea market full of hidden treasures: antiques, trendy clothes, lovely jewelry. You name it, they've got it. Hundreds of vendors pack into Fairfax High School and set up shop. Sarah and I spent a few hours just walking around and looking at everything. This might be my favorite place I've seen in L.A. so far. I LOVE it. The Christian child's book" hmmmm.
