http://allybthatsme.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Ally B.that's Me! Fiber Arts, Family and LittleDog. Friday, March 14, 2014. I knit another hat. And the model was so stinking cute I can hardly stand it. What do you think? This project is one of those that everyone wants one. I'm making slow progress on a baby blanket with a Dragon Skin stitch pattern. LittleDog had a trip to the vet to see about a UTI and is doing much better a couple days into the ridiculously expensive antibiotics. And in a gathering at Natural Suburbia. Thanks for stopping in. I'm r...

Ally B.that's Me! Fiber Arts, Family and LittleDog. Friday, January 10, 2014. I've got some catching up to do. Whoa, it's been a while since I posted here. Seems as though Spinzilla must have killed me. No, not exactly, but it was a near death experience for my shoulder. How've you all been? I need to get out and do some blog visiting this weekend. Judging by the weather forecast I should have plenty of time to do it. Rain on all this snow is going to make for some rough travel this weekend. We've been t...

http://allybthatsme.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Ally B.that's Me! Fiber Arts, Family and LittleDog. Friday, February 28, 2014. With a little encouragement. I'm putting this post together. Thanks Vivian for giving me a push. I think that since I post pics of the stuff I'm working on over on FB and Instagram that you'll all be tired of seeing my stuff. True? Please let me know if you still like to see it here. He decided he needed to guard the pile-o-socks that was waiting to go in the laundry. Would you attempt to take a sock from this dog? Simple temp...

Thursday, May 21, 2015. After hanging out for a few hours at the Wye, we headed up past Tremont to do a hike we've never done before. It turned out to be more of a nature walk, as usual, but, it was great! There was a beautiful waterfall and so much interesting stuff along the way. The kids were so excited and declared this their favorite place to go! The waterfall was really unique, nothing huge or spectacular.just different. The kids think we're going to bring our tube and tube down it! I am SO blessed!

Wednesday, April 29, 2015. We got our two new packages of small cell bees installed. I'm really praying they will do well. It's frustrating starting from scratch, but, we've learned some valuable lessons. Our chicks are all getting so big! We're ready for one of our hens to go broody so we can hatch some of our own again. I think the Gold-Laced Wyandottes are so pretty! Luke's pretty cute too. :). We've been brewing lots and lots of Kombucha. The kids and Chad just love it! Wild and free children. Those ...

The Bowling Family: November 2014
http://fourbowlings.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 1, 2014. On Thursday we headed to Knoxville and spent the entire day downtown. We started out at the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra's Young People's Concert. It was amazing, as usual. This year was even more special because they had a West African dance team from a local high school. Our kids were so excited! After that, we headed over to the Museum of Art. They have a new kid's section with a giant Lite Brite. They could have played with that all day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ghana A...

Monday, January 19, 2015. This weekend we did lots of birding. We went to visit my mom so we headed to a fish hatchery near her to see if we could spot some water fowl. We didn't have very much luck but we saw a kingfisher, gulls, geese, a kestrel, and a Heron. All the ducks flew off as soon as we got there. Then we went to a nearby lake where you can buy food to feed the birds. The ducks were eating out of the kids' hands. It made us all miss our ducks! Wild and free children. The day after we got back ...
