Global change. One organism at a time. Posted by David S Johnson. July 10, 2013. March 18, 2015. I am an ecologist. I study plant and animal communities and while my questions are varied, they follow two themes, one fundamental and one applied:. How are communities structured? How do human activities affect the structure and function of ecosystems? And still listen to the timeless narratives of my recent ancestors Thoreau. Johnson and Short 2013. http://www.helpinggardenersgrow.com/2013/12/pams-list-of-gifts-for-gardeners.html
Gardening insights, ideas, and practical advice. Monday, December 9, 2013. Pam's List of Gifts for Gardeners. To holidays, I'm a minimalist—which makes what I'm about to do entirely out of character. I am going to offer my list of Gifts for Gardeners. You can blame Kate Copsey, who invited me onto her "America's Home Grown Veggie Show" to talk about the subject, for this. This particular list has a theme, and that theme is “gifts with a mission.”. A $50 membership to the Garden Conservancy. Was designed ...
