Days after announcing his move to Haas F1 Team, Romain Grosjean has admitted that the team's relations with Ferrari partially persuaded him to move to the brand new team. Of course we don't know for sure if Kimi will retire at the end of 2016 - many people thought he'd retire in 2015 before he announced his contract extension to 2016. Bearing this in mind, we can't assume just yet that Kimi will definitely retire in 2016.

The Formula One Blog. Grosjean's Future At Haas F1 Team. By far the biggest reason to swing Grojean's decision to moving would be due to Haas' connections with Ferrari. This could be a sweet ticket into a Ferrari seat come the end of Raikkonen's era in the prancing horse, expected to be at the end of 2016. Even though Grosjean will be hoping for that Ferrari seat in a few years time, he'll certainly give everything he's got at Haas F1 Team and lead them like a mature driver. Create a free website.
