To chronicle the day-to-day lives of the Forths. Wednesday, February 14, 2007. Michael and I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. I’m sure that comes as a great shock to those who know us. In fact, it’s so much not celebrated that I spent all day thinking Valentine’s was tomorrow. I’ve never been a fan of this holiday. I can get behind the elementary school version of Valentine’s Day: making cards from construction paper, classroom parties, candy. Many fond memories of that. That’s the spirit of the day!

Okay, so you haven’t yet received a call saying baby is here and this is how much she weighs and how long she is, and how wonderfully beautiful she is, and that mom and baby are doing fine because she hasn’t made her appearance yet. Today is day 6 in the overdue stage. And yes, I am the tax accountant, and I do realize this is the last day to get that extra exemption and credit on our 2006 tax return. Regardless of our readiness.

Her eyes haven't seemed to settle on a color yet, but muddy algae is pretty close right now. She does have the dark ring around her irises like her mommy, though. They have opened the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace to the public for about 3 months this summer.
