20 Falls: August 2009
http://melissa-nathan.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Next "what we did for our Summer Vacation". We headed to Spanish Fork for the weekend. Our first stop The Golden Spike National Monument, where the East met the West. Location, out in the middle of nowhere. Near a place where rockets are made and top secret stuff like that. But, the kids (especially Corbin) loved seeing the trains. They fired them up and let them run. Corbs was in train heaven! Corbin in ahhh as the trains fire up! Watch out John Wayne, here comes Cowboy Tanner!

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. We went to Clifton for Memorial Day. It is absolutely beautiful there. Very lush and green. Nathan said it reminded him of Ireland. I loved it! We left Sunday right after church and enjoyed a meal with my parents. It was rainy and overcast and quite breathtaking. We helped Grandpa move the pipe on the park lawn (didn't need watering, but he had water so went for it). We sat out on the porch and watched the rain and clouds come down the mountain. What a great weekend! We had Brycen'...

20 Falls: April 2010

Monday, April 12, 2010. Hi, it is me again and my trip! I failed to show a picture of Nathan in his awesome poncho! So so wet. Such a different rain then our dry desert! Loved it, just not so much after I got soaked through. Little more about the capitol building. The painting inside the rotunda was awesome! It appeared so 3D! Little fact, it took 3 diff. Erent artists to finish this painting. The first fell to his death while painting it. The Korean Memorial took me away deep in thought. First we wa...

Saturday, May 22, 2010. Who's driving this flying umbrella? Yes, I am here, sorry to have kept you all on pins and needles! How we spent our Saturday. Well, our 20-Falls was bitter windy cold. Miserable! But, I didn't let that stop me! I powered up and kicked my legs into gear and ran and ran. Training for a beasty 1/2 marathon. My ears have been aching and I have just felt cold all day from that chilly run. But, I ran and ran, 10.5 miles! Not bad for this chic-a-dee! I called them, our conversation:.

Tuesday, April 28, 2009. We ventured down to the Falls on Friday. They were definitely going strong. To Corbin it was a first that he can remember. He loved it! Apparently cars were backed up for 1 hour and 1/2 to see the Falls, last weekend. The revenue it brought in for the City was $275,000, in just one weekend. Corbin would reach out and try to touch the water. Tanner tried to spit down to the water, but I am afraid it added mist to the people next to him.nice. Friday, April 17, 2009. I have left him...

20 Falls: July 2009
http://melissa-nathan.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Our hike up a mountain. This is Tanner hiking about 1/2 way to 3/4 of the way up. It was a beast. Tanner had to rethink things through and made the decision to keep on digging. I was very proud of him. 8 miles and 8miles back down, in one day! This is Whipple Valley, totally green and beautiful! The last time I did this hike, we camped, but this year there was too many of us and too much gear so we muscled it out in one day. We got poured on! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my c...

Friday, October 9, 2009. Over the river and through the woods. We went down to Grandma and Granpa's. Tanner drove the tractor with Grandpa. Nathan helped cut down some very tall and very dead poplar trees. One of which we had to dodge to live to tell the tale! Corbin loved feeding the steers apples. Grandpa watching on as the head boss. Here is a view of the TALL Poplar, that is big Nathan next to it. Tanner carving spears and all sorts of boy things. Hiking up. It was very pretty. Holl the Doll and Jeff.

20 Falls: A little of me, it is only fair!
http://melissa-nathan.blogspot.com/2010/09/little-of-me-it-is-only-fair.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. A little of me, it is only fair! It is high time a mother gets some blog time, right? I deserve it right? So, to start, I borrowed most of the pics from Janie'. So thanks Jane Bird! This picture of my sisters. Is pretty special to me. They are my closest teammates. I can call, text or drop in on them whenever! So, that I did back in April, Savannah and I surprised Colette in Seattle. I needed her and she was obviously 'floored' with my "drop in visit! I am a fan of freebies!

Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Fall Frolics of Family life. Tanner as the scary skeleton, 2 years running-YES! Corbin as the Splendid Red Engine-James. Savannah as Aurora of Sleeping Beauty. Brycen-sleeping at home with Daddy who answered doors for a hour then called me via cell phone and informed me lights were out and he was headed to the basement, out of candy. All 300 pieces! I came home and rounded up about 100 more. That is a lot of kids being caravan-ed in to our subdivision. The kids had fun, but ...

Monday, February 23, 2009. Savannah has realized she has enough knowledge to write stories. So, she has been at it! Here is her story. I will write down her actual words underneath so you can keep up. She worked and thought it out so well. See how my baby brother. Fell off the chair! She then went on. To begin her story. It says Page number 1 on the right side. I had a dog with a collar. And he had to go away for a day. My pup had to go to my neighbor's house. The dog had a lot of fun toda. He barks a lot.
