This activity can be performed independently by a 5/6 year old child. 1 Shape the end of the toilet roll into a heart shape by squeezing it. 2 Put the toilet roll into a pot of glue and press the roll onto a piece of paper. 3 Then, sprinkle salt, coloured rice or glitter on the heart patterns.
