Journey to the Altar

Journey to the Altar. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. 2 month sprint begins! Doesn't feel real yet, despite those two very exciting milestones. So with that logic, it's only like 6 days before the wedding. You think with that weird timewarp counting, things would feel a little more. finished? But they don't. I wonder when that feeling will finally hit? The Future Mrs. H. Sunday, February 12, 2012. 62 days to go! Could I have had any longer of a break between posts? Journey to the Altar: May 2011

http://thefuturemrshastings.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Journey to the Altar. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Last night Will and I went over to the Church to take our Foccus test (double C intentional) and attend an orientation. The test was pretty silly, over 200 scantron questions which Will and I both agree showed us there are people out there will problems a lot larger then ours. We laughed a lot about explaining why our answers wouldn't match up in certain places. I think we're going to be just fine when we get our results, with very few surprises (I hope!

Journey to the Altar: Feeling Centered

http://thefuturemrshastings.blogspot.com/2011/11/feeling-centered.html

Journey to the Altar. Friday, November 18, 2011. Over the last few months, and with an increasing intensity over the last few days, I have become consumed with the need to spruce up our centerpieces. When we originally saw the wrought iron with crystal embellishment candle holders (hard to explain and I can't get my picture off my phone! I thought they were absolutely lovely. Now I look at them and feel that there's *something* missing. The problem is, I can't figure out what that something is. Yes, this...

Journey to the Altar: September 2011

http://thefuturemrshastings.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

Journey to the Altar. Thursday, September 29, 2011. The Bouquet of Doom (well, not really). I have alluded to this masterpiece on more then one occasion, but refrained from adding any pictures because. well, we just weren't 100% happy with it. We realized last night, that no one will inspect it like we did, nor even get as up close and personal to it as we were. So that really helped us relax and appreciate our months of hard work. You may remember me posting pictures about what we started with:. Hellloo...

Journey to the Altar: I Spy, With My Little Eye, Something AMAZING!

http://thefuturemrshastings.blogspot.com/2011/07/i-spy-with-my-little-eye-something.html

Journey to the Altar. Friday, July 8, 2011. I Spy, With My Little Eye, Something AMAZING! I was searching the usual wedding inspiration sites yesterday, and was so so excited when I stumbled across something called the "I Spy" Project. [www.weddingbee.com]. Essentially its a fun way to give your guests an idea of the sorts of pictures that you would like them to take. Also, you can turn it into a game, with a little gift for the "winner" aka person who takes the most pictures from the list. After I was f...

Sweet Sixteen: Wedding Style.

Sweet Sixteen: Wedding Style. With 16 months until "The Big Day," I wanted to start a blog to document the experience (deployment, planning, life), get some friendly input, and just keep my thoughts in a collected space!
