A blog for two mommys, one a stay at home and one a working mother, musing on the day to day trials and tribulations of first-time mommyhood. Wednesday, November 7, 2012. I have so much sadness in my heart every day, but I'm not going to talk about that today. Today is just about catching up. A Mommy Is Made.

So in Stroller Strides, there is always a question of the day. Today the question was, " What do you do as a mom that you thought you would never do? Resolve to make no more Resolutions. So, I'm not out of the ordinary. New Years Resolutions typically last barely more than a week, and I am no exception. My goal of posting once a day lasted less than one week. I'm starting to get sick and tired of being a constant disappointment to myself. I try, I really do. A Mommy Is Made.

So, as a sahm I get to appreciate the joys many of you don't. Like going to the mall in the middle of the week. And I'm there almost every single day in the winter because that is where Stroller Strides meets. I'm not going to name names, but the mall we go to is what I like to call just north of a sh*thole. So we cram my ever growing bo...

A blog for two mommys, one a stay at home and one a working mother, musing on the day to day trials and tribulations of first-time mommyhood. Thursday, January 5, 2012. The Lady and the Pee. I think we are going to have a theme for the next few days. Again, at my daily morning haunt, Sh*thole Mall, I was accosted in the restroom. It even gets the toilet paper wet, which is that extra little bit of unpleasantness that you want as you hover and try to hold your nose at the same time. A Mommy Is Made.

Adventures in Sleeping, part 1. We are in the midst of a change. As most parents will tell you, everything is a phase, try not to get too focused on the present, things get better. While I try to remember this sage advice, it escapes me when trying to wrestle my 22 month old into bed every night. So after the THIRD! A Mommy Is Made.

Its that time of year again, when all good babies, looking for sweet love and attention, start coming at you from all angles with the nastiest noses imaginable. My little princess is no exception. http://travelswithcharleys.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 21, 2013. As anyone who still might read this blog from time to time might have noticed, it's been a long time since my last post. In fact, long stretches of time lapse between most of my posts now. There are lots of excuses- "I'm so busy! Is this interesting enough to people for me to actually write about? But I think the real reasons are that I'm lacking in inspiration, and so I don't really have the creative edge anymore to keep it up. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
