JapanJonesFamily: January 2014
http://japanjonesfamily.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Our adventure in The Land of the Rising Sun. Thursday, January 2, 2014. We went to Showa Park back in the fall when the leaves were changing. Most of these pictures are just me playing with the camera. Eedie calls these the bumble bee's house. "Don't go in the bumble bee's house or steal their honey and they will be nice," she says. The girls love holding hands. Eedie in her giant track suit. All it takes is a little ice cream. Get that corn out of my face. Playing on the giant marshmallow. Flat decided ...

JapanJonesFamily: Sumo
http://japanjonesfamily.blogspot.com/2014/03/sumo.html
Our adventure in The Land of the Rising Sun. Saturday, March 15, 2014. Mike and I took a trip downtown to see some Sumo. Half these pictures where taken with the iPhone and half with the good camera. Not sure his name, but people wanted pictures with him so we figured we would too. We went early in the day, so we missed some of the best wrestlers. They go later in the evening. It was nice though, because we got to go down close and sit. If we had gone later we would have had to sit upstairs. They sold al...

JapanJonesFamily: New Year's
http://japanjonesfamily.blogspot.com/2014/03/new-years.html
Our adventure in The Land of the Rising Sun. Saturday, March 15, 2014. For New Year's Eve, we went next door to our neighbors house. We had some crafts for the kiddies and had some fun food. I don't know why I didn't take pictures of it but I didn't. =(. Ryan building a tower with their Kapla blocks. Getting ready for the balloon drop even though it wasn't technically midnight. I put confetti in the balloons. In action. I blame Mike for these bad pictures since he took them. These are jackets for dogs.

http://japanjonesfamily.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Our adventure in The Land of the Rising Sun. Monday, September 3, 2012. Friendship Festival and then some. Friendship Festival was a couple weeks ago which means we've now been in Japan for a whole year! We got here the same weekend as the Friendship Festival last year. It is crazy how fast this last year has gone. Watching the drum show at the Friendship Festival. Eating Yakiniku. one of our favorites. I had a rice taco salad, famous in the southern island of Japan, Okinawa. Just watching a little TV.

JapanJonesFamily: Sledding at Fuji-ten
http://japanjonesfamily.blogspot.com/2014/03/sledding-at-fuji-ten.html
Our adventure in The Land of the Rising Sun. Saturday, March 15, 2014. For Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we went to Mt. Fuji to go sledding. Eedie and Mike sledding. I love signs in Japanese bathrooms that tell you how to use the toilet. UFO cloud over Fuji! In the restaurant at Fuji-ten, you get your rice in the form of Fuji. Back at it on the hill after lunch. Eedie flipping over on the sled. It took Annabelle all day before she would go down the hill. Her first trip down was a little scary.

JapanJonesFamily: April 2013
http://japanjonesfamily.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Our adventure in The Land of the Rising Sun. Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Mike was messing with the camera and got some funny pictures of Annabelle and Eedie. We went to the Cup Noodle Museum in Yokohama. It was fairly cheap and pretty entertaining. It was basically a big advertisement for Cup Noodle. On one floor, there is a restaurant where you can try noodles from eight different countries. The first couple pictures are pretty decent because. Left: Pho, Vietnam - Right: Lagman, Kazakhstan. Eedie's cup&#...

JapanJonesFamily: October 2013
http://japanjonesfamily.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Our adventure in The Land of the Rising Sun. Monday, October 28, 2013. We wanted to visit another country on this side of the world while in Japan. We had a few options but after talking to different people decided to visit Phuket, Thailand (pronounced poo-ket). We were glad we did. It was a really fun trip. I'll warn you, it's a total picture overload. But as always, it's for our journal. =). Fruit and banana-pancake stands. In front of our hotel, note that Annabelle is always having a great time. The g...

JapanJonesFamily: May 2013
http://japanjonesfamily.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Our adventure in The Land of the Rising Sun. Friday, May 31, 2013. Mike went to Indonesia for a couple weeks in April. We had NeNe come out and visit for a week during that time. We mainly just kept our same routine with preschool, swimming and dance. But we did have some fun. Annabelle packing Eedie away. We had Pepper Lunch before going to our favorite indoor playland. They kept saying. "push me! It was a family affair. Annabelle's first time feeding Vivian herself. On her actual 6 month birthday:.
