Thursday, May 15, 2008. So Guido (Jim's Truck) is no more. The two of them were in an accident last Monday, and although Jim is fine, we just got the call that Guido didn't make it. Really? You mean they didn't want to spend $4,000-5,000 to fix THIS? It really doesn't look that bad.but this thing was a tank.for it to have even a scratch on it, I told Jim that they had to have hit each other pretty hard. This combo works out great to get some projects done that have been on my list for a while. I bought this set of chairs from a garage sale months ago. They match my entertainment center and end tables. Taking off the seats was the easy part. Then I scrubbed, sanded, dusted, primed, and sprayed two coats of paint on them. It's the perfect time to go because almost no one is there and we get to stay until it closes (and it's happy hour at Sonic! The kids get worn out and as soon as we get home we eat dinner and get ready for bed. The afternoon goes so much better when we're busy. Parker wanted to take a picture of him "holding" the giraffes.
