We got spoiled with a visit from Aunt Monica (my sister) the week of Cadence's birthday as my birthday and Monica's birthday are also the same week within days apart, so why not celebrate all together! For her birthday we lucked out and got a babysitter. We took her on her first BART ride over to San Francisco and had dinner on the Embarcadero water front. It was fancy and fun to get dressed up and go into town (something I very rarely get to do in the evening). My Cute Little Man.

Our campsite was just north of Truckee (maybe 5/10 minutes) and just south of Reno (maybe 20/30 minutes) overlooking the Boca Reservoir (about 4 hours from our house not counting traffic). The first day of exploring Lake Tahoe we started at Kings Beach which is the North tip of Lake Tahoe. It was beautiful here! The water was clear and super shallow for a long while, making it perfect for the kids to get comfortable and play. I love making thes...

Thursday, May 29, 2014. I can't believe my little girl is now two! She also loves balls, cars, bikes and dirt like her brother. As well as flowers, twirling, singing, jumping and playing peek-a-boo. Her language skills are rather impressive as she is already putting together three/four word sentences. Currently her most favorite (commonly used) word is: NO, NOPE, or any combination.
