Sunday, August 31, 2014. Is it really already that time of year? We are in transition and homeschooling on the road, so to speak. My mom and I converted one of the offices in the San Antonio house into the schoolroom for MV and Jack this year! We are only homeschooling through February, when we leave for South America, so we have a lot to accomplish! Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Lately, we've been. Enjoying a fancy mama breakfast before the babies wake up. Trying to embrace pregnancy. I really don't like being pregnant but i'm trying to remember that God chose me to carry this sweet miracle around for nine months. I'm His assistant miracle maker :). Loving this amazing shea butter. Well, maybe a couple stretch marks to prove it! Chuckling about how cute my dad is :). Amused at how these brothers have decided to sleep together. And still wake up happy!

It's super creamy without the addition of cream and sneaks in veggies to even the pickiest eaters! 4 slices bacon, diced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 onion, diced. 2 carrots, peeled and diced. 2 stalks celery, diced. 4 cups chicken broth. 1 cup 2% milk. 1 head cauliflower, roughly chopped. You are sweet, happy, adventurous, and your love for others is contagious. Thank you for pulling us out of our comfort zones constantly and teaching us to trust Jesus and we entrust you right back to Him. We love you, Chimwemwe, and we are so very, very glad that Jesus gave you to us. Bedtime is still around 7:30-8:00 and you wake up between 5:45-7.

As most of you know our flight to Okinawa was temporarily delayed because a typhoon was passing thru Japan. While stuck in Seattle, we decided to tour the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Children's Museum, and Seattle Aquarium. Here are a few of the pictures of our unexpected vacation. The girls and I hit some terrible traffic en route to Quantico to pick up Jason and Jess, but once we got going, it wasn't too bad…unless you factor in all the crying that Savannah did! Let's just say we were in need of a stiff drink upon arrival at the new Belward Mansion! Allie was napping too, but that didn't stop Colleen from holding her! She wasn't nearly as comfortable with the little one:).

Oct 30, 2011. We decided it would be fun to go to the second largest aquarium for Columbus Day, since Dustin had a few days off for the weekend. It was fun to watch my two boys enjoy touching some sea stars and "cucumber" sea things. Caleb seems to enjoy having his Daddy around! Caleb enjoyed watching all the fish swim around and seeing all their different colors. I just though these were pretty fish swimming around.
