The Quickie Book Review: December 2008

http://quickiebooks.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

The Quickie Book Review. I read a lot. I could talk a lot about the books I read, but that would cut into my reading time, wouldn't it? So here's the quickie version instead.if you've read, and would like to help me out, then by all means comment! Friday, December 19, 2008. Quickie Recap: Christmas in some families is a time of tradition and warmth and celebration. But if you've got a family half of crazy as mine, if you veer toward the untraditional. Car Free Friday, carfreefriday |Car Free Friday!: May 2008

http://carfreefriday.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

Friday, May 30, 2008. As Promised. The 800 Dollar "Car" That Runs on Chocolate Chip Cookies. Price of gasoline: 136.9 or 135.9 if you're lucky. Price per barrel of oil: 127.35 dollars. It runs on chocolate chip cookies (or mini eggs.) I love it.  It is not a downtown, shopping kinda buggy, but it suits our purposes fine.  . When the kids are grown and done with it, it'll become my shopping trailer.  I can switch to bike tow mode with a few simple adjustments.  Not bad for 800 dollars. Sunday, May 11, 2008.
