Quickie Recap: Christmas in some families is a time of tradition and warmth and celebration. But if you've got a family half of crazy as mine, if you veer toward the untraditional. Car Free Friday, carfreefriday |Car Free Friday!: May 2008
http://carfreefriday.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 30, 2008. As Promised. The 800 Dollar "Car" That Runs on Chocolate Chip Cookies. Price of gasoline: 136.9 or 135.9 if you're lucky. Price per barrel of oil: 127.35 dollars. It runs on chocolate chip cookies (or mini eggs.) I love it. It is not a downtown, shopping kinda buggy, but it suits our purposes fine. . When the kids are grown and done with it, it'll become my shopping trailer. I can switch to bike tow mode with a few simple adjustments. Not bad for 800 dollars. Sunday, May 11, 2008.
