Sunday, September 21, 2014. We got a tour of the main church. The detail was amazing with all of the altars gold-leafed. The gold leaves were stuck on using cactus juice. We drove up a labyrinth of streets to get to this Rio-esque Christ. The platform was littered with big black beetles which terrified Iris. View of the city from the teleferico. Sunday, December 27, 2009. Dear Family and Friends,. This last year has flown by so fast, but what a wonderful year it has been! We have been living in Idaho Falls for a year and a half, and love our little home here. We are grateful to be near some of my extended family and we have made some wonderful friends. We have a lot of kids that live around us and our children have loved having so many friends to play with. Ben has been in school this year and has only his internship and one more semester left!

Saturday, February 21, 2009. Last Friday (a week and a half ago), I booked a flight for me and the kids to Tucson to visit my twin sister, Jessica, and her three kids. Sunday, November 27, 2011. Shailee and Hyrum stayed up late on Wednesday to help make pies. Thursday morning we went to my grandparents home for a nostalgic jaunt in the leaves, one of my favorite traditions as a child. Then it was on to my parents house for some fabulous company and food. Doug's mom came into town that night to help me out, and now my mom is here to help! Thank goodness for the help, because these two keep me busy!
