We visited everything that we could and since we were all hopped up on delicious cupcakes we even pushed nap time until 3pm because we were having so much fun. Parker loved it just as much this time, if not more, than he had in previous trips so I definitely see more zoo family time in our future. Thank you RT for such a fun day! It was so much fun to watch how excited he was at finding his basket. Even more fun to watch him actually open everything and go through it. This was the first time he actually seemed to understand. His 15 month well visit proved that he is still on the tiny side, but for what he lacks in size he makes up for in personality. And loudness. A few things about Parker at 15 months. Cranberry-Jalapeno Cream Cheese Dip. 12 ounces fresh cranberries. 4-5 green onions, chopped. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely diced. 1 cup sugar (more or less to taste). 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (from about 1 large lemon). 2 (8 ounces each) packages cream cheese, light or regular, softened. Crackers, for serving. Refrigerate for up to an hour before serving. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
